This file is a valid mkv (made in AVI-Mux GUI with "force matroska v2 compatibility"), but is detected as MPEG-PS. -demuxer mkv has no errors but quits immediately (same for -demuxer lavf). The file works in other players and works in mplayer if remuxed in mkvmerge.
